We at Petroleum Contractors Trade Section (PCTS) are proud to have actively participated in the NIPS 2021.
The well attended event hosted by the Hon. Minister of State of Petroleum Resources- H.E. Hon Timipre Sylva
provided a much needed forum for the industry players to share notes and strategize on new approaches to the
future of hydrocarbon.
PCTS Chairperson Mr. Tayo Akinkunmi spoke on the enablers for successful digital transformation. He posited
that while Technology sits at the core of digital transformation, it’s success in our eco system calls for
collaboration and particularly development of trusted and secured data interchange systems between Oil Producers,
Regulators, OEM and Service providers.
Mrs. Rosario Osobase, our Executive Secretary discussed Oil & Money Strategies for Energy Transition, with emphasis
on an overview of technologies for Energy Transition. She highlighted the importance of the nation making sure to
strategically leverage the prolific gas reserves in transition journey and reiterated PCTS’ alignment with Nigeria's
initiatives for the "Decade of Gas".
