We had open and frank discussions about the future of the industry in the country and acknowledged the common objectives of NAPIMS and PCTS to explore the vast hydrocarbon resources of the country for the benefit of Nigeria and other stakeholders. Leadership on both sides deliberated on several areas for collaboration towards NAPIMS mandate of driving down both OPEX and CAPEX cost in the Upstream Sector. PCTS Member Companies remain committed and ready to deploying state of the arts technology and services towards improving project economics in Nigeria.


As the moderator, he steered the discussions of this very enlightening panel that had Shell ELOHOR AIBONI, Schneider Electric Ajibola Akindele, and Akintunde Adelana, FIMC, FCIPS. of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board. The panel discussion was on: "What the Enablers Require to Bridge the Capacity Gap for Improved Local Content Implementation".


They also leveraged the opportunity of the visit to formally present a N20 million R&D Fund in support of NCDMB-driven Center of Excellence (COE) in a few Nigerian universities to power R&D in spearheading future industry Direction.
