Founded in 1919, Halliburton is one of the world’s largest providers
of products and services to the energy industry. With more than 80,000
employees, representing 140 nationalities in approximately 80 countries,
the company serves the upstream oil and gas industry throughout the
life cycle of the reservoir – from locating hydrocarbons and managing
geological data, to drilling and formation evaluation, well construction
and completion, and

Halliburton Consists of Two Operating Divisions Drilling and Evaluation provides directional drilling services, drill bits and drilling fluid systems; data-gathering services such as logging and logging-while-drilling that help operators make initial evaluations of the formation; and remote operations centers that coordinate data gathering, reservoir modeling, and field execution for all aspects of the well construction and evaluation process in real time. In addition, the division provides software and data management services, consulting services and project management services.Completion and Production provides cementing services, including structural support for the wellbore casing and isolating the producing zones; and completion services, including downhole and surface equipment, expandables and swellable technologies, and reservoir testing and analysis solutions. Production enhancement services include fracturing, acidizing, and sand and water control. The division also offers well intervention services, such as coiled tubing and hydraulic workovers.Halliburton in Nigeria Halliburton has been present in Nigeria for over fifty years and has steadily grown from primarily cementing to a wide range of other oilfield products and services. In Nigeria, Halliburton has a workforce of over one thousand, one hundred and ninety five (1195) employees. This means about 95% of the total employees in Nigeria are made of Nigerians. Therefore, Halliburton has the infrastructure, resources and personnel in-country to help build local capacity within the area.. |
