During this session, we appreciated the Minister for his exemplary leadership in the gas sector, notably in reducing gas flaring, advancing critical infrastructure such as the OB3 and AKK pipelines, and resolving long-standing delays in commercial agreements for key gas supply projects. The meeting also provided an opportunity to highlight key operational challenges and advocate for the inclusion of the service company segment in applicable government incentives, alongside measures that strengthen our ability to deliver greater value within Nigeria. In response, the Minister reaffirmed his ministry’s commitment to fostering a more enabling environment for all industry stakeholders, in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritizes a conducive business climate for all stakeholders, including the private sector, to drive gas investment.
